How to fix a no network error on a 3 Connect Dongle

1.) Go to control panel, and click on add new hardware (if it doesn't appear automatically).

2.) When it comes up with the message, have you installed the software? Click Yes.
(This is assuming you have already set 3 connect up whether it's working or not).

3.) On the installed Hardware list look for HUAWEI Mobile.
(If it has a question mark with a yellow caution than keep reading this guide).

4.) It should now come up with Hardware Update Wizard.
(Please note that this is the same Hardware Update Wizard that appears after installation if the drivers haven't installed properly, and what might also appear after re-starting you're computer if you're 3connect isn't working).

5.)  On Hardware Update Wizard for the question - can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software?  Answer No, Not this time?

6>) On the next screen - which says - Did your hardware come with an Installation CD, or Floppy Disk?  Click on Install from a list or specific location.

7.)  On the next screen which says please choose your search and installation options (at the top of the box). Click on include this location in my search, and then click browse.  After you've clicked browse - click on the dropdown list on My Computer, and then the dropdown list on (C:) drive.  Now click on the dropdown list for program files, and finally the dropdown list for HUAWEI modems.  Click on WinXP, and press OK, and then click Next.

8.) Now what happens is the drivers are found and installed, and afterwards it says the wizard has finished installing HUAWEI Mobile Connect - 3G Modem.  Now click finish.

9.)  Click On 3Connect, and now your no No Network error Should be gone.

10.) Your Internet should now work - if it doesn't - you might need to do this aswell.  Click on My Computer/ (C:)/ Program Files/ HUAWEI Modems.  & Click on Progess.EXE.
