Chivs86 How to Guides:
Content missing from posts on blogger
Today I’ve had the most stressful day like you wouldn’t believe. Mainly because of one thing; last night after working on my main blog – through doing this, and that to the html, and whatever…
– The content has stopped appearing in my blog posts!
– The content has stopped appearing in my blog posts!
A nuisance, and after hours of googleing. I’ve come to only one conclusion –
I need to reset my html to the way it first came, before adding things like widgets, templates, and ad codes.
Of course in the future I’ll know to keep a text file of my html. Something I can use as a back up – if anything goes wrong, but it’s a little too late for that now. So what I’m going to share with you today is how I’ve got around recovering missing content in my blogger posts.
Step 1: Quite obvious really type in ‘www.blogger.com’ in the address bar, and log in to your blogger account.
Step 2: On the ‘Your Blogs’ page. Either click on the blog with the missing contents title or click on the ‘more options box’, and got to template.
Step 3: Click on Edit Html.
Step 4: Can’t believe how easy this is. Search for the phrase ‘Revert widget templates to default’. And there you go – that’s my blog working again. Back to work I suppose.
Now to see if i can do what got me in this mess in the first place. Put adsense anywhere in my posts!
